Rob Hirons
Rob Hirons brings to each lesson over 20 years of experience teaching both beginners and advanced drummers as well as coaching accomplished players on the modern music scene, assisting each individual to reach their highest potential.
Rob specializes in the teaching of the Freestroke and Moeller techniques taught to him by Global Drumming Educator Dom Famularo who in turn learned these concepts from renowned teachers Jim Chapin and Joe Morello amongst others. These techniques are fundamental to developing freedom of expression on the drum set. Rob also specializes in the concept of Open Handed Playing and independence used by such drummers as Billy Cobham, Simon Philips, Gary Husband and many others.

Nico Mardirossian
Nico Mardirossian has solid teaching experience assisting aspiring students of all ages and of all levels. He has participated with Rob Hirons at masterclasses and clinic performances demonstrating his capacity for artistic expression on the drum set.
Nico’s expressive playing style and his passionate enthusiasm for sharing knowledge are fused into each lesson and are transmitted directly to his students, helping to create the future generation of drummers.
Nico has studied extensively with Marseille based teacher Philippe Poveda, with Rob Hirons, as well as participating in private study with Dom Famularo to help bring drumming education to the next level.
